''Bhootwala Serial'' is a comedy show that aired on SAB TV and premiered on February 23, 2009. It is the first horror - comedy show in India. The show's premise is about a group of friends purchasing/renting a home and the feeble attempts of the resident ghosts to evict them. It parodies the stereotypical aspects of Indian horror such as evil she-ghosts, evil laughter, odd-looking make up of the ghosts etc...
